Materials:
Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn
Size H crochet hook
Abbreviations:
Ch- Chain
Sc- Single Crochet
Dc- Double Crochet
Fpdc- Front Post Double Crochet
St(s)- Stitch(es)
Directions:
Chain 33
Turn and dc in third ch from hook (counts as first dc). Dc across ( 32 sts)
[Chain 2 (counts as first dc), turn, skip first dc space, Fpdc, *dc, fpdc repeat from * across.] 7 times
Fold cloth in half widthwise.
Ch 1, sc the two halves together evenly around all 4 sides working two or more sc in each corner to keep flat. Join to first sc with a slip stitch. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Hi there, I love these patterns, but I have a question. When I start out with 33 chains, and I make my first dc in the 3rd chain from the hook, I always end up with 32 stitches instead of 31. Am I not doing this correctly? I'm getting better results by only chaining 32. Let me know, I'd really like to know if I'm doing it wrong :)
